Hello

I know firsthand that domestic violence is not always visible. It can be verbal, emotional, psychological, physical, financial, or rooted in control, and many survivors stay quiet because they fear they will not be believed. For a long time, I carried that silence myself. What I have learned is that shame does not belong to the survivor, and that telling the truth is an act of courage. That belief shapes everything I do.

Public service has been a meaningful part of my life, including my campaign for Sunrise City Commission, and it deepened my conviction that leaders have a responsibility to protect and uplift people who feel unheard. As Board Director of Grants, I look forward to identifying and pursuing funding opportunities that expand the foundation’s reach, so that survivors have access to the resources they need, when they need them. Every person deserves to live with dignity, safety, and freedom from fear.
