I’m Leidy Gomez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida and a Qualified Supervisor, with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health. Now, as Deputy Director of Mental Health for the Wings to Freedom Foundation, I am honored to bring my clinical experience to support survivors on their path toward healing, resilience, and hope.
My Story
Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to promoting emotional wellness and supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care. As the Founder and CEO of Arise Mental Health, I’ve built a welcoming environment where people from diverse backgrounds can access quality mental health services. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional and behavioral challenges across the lifespan.
I believe in empowering people to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and grow in ways that matter to them. I treat the whole person, and I work to foster hope, healing, and connection within the community. In my role as Deputy Director of Mental Health, I look forward to strengthening the foundation’s support for survivors and making mental health care more accessible. Seeking support is a strength, and no survivor should have to heal alone.
