My Story

My connection to this work is both professional and personal. As a survivor of financial abuse and domestic violence, I know intimately how financial control can trap a person in unsafe situations. I also know how financial literacy and self-determination can pave the path out of fear and into freedom.

Because of that, my mission extends far beyond spreadsheets and tax forms. Through my business and my community efforts, I strive to equip others with the tools and confidence they need to take control of their finances, break cycles of economic hardship, and step into lives of independence and resilience.

Financial abuse is often the quietest yet most devastating form of control—and I am committed to bringing it into the light. I use my story, my skill, and my platform to educate, support, and inspire others who are transitioning from survival to thriving.

Joining the Wings to Freedom Foundation is an extension of that mission. Here, I have the privilege of helping build awareness, engage supporters, and create sustainable funding that directly enables services, outreach, and advocacy for survivors. It is a role I carry with gratitude and purpose.

My vision is to bridge the gap between financial education and personal empowerment so every individual—regardless of their past—can build a secure, thriving future. I believe that when people are equipped with knowledge and support, they can rise above circumstances that once held them back.
